Lemmings arrived on the Lynx in 1993, developed by DMA Design — the same Scottish studio responsible for the original computer version, and which years later would create Grand Theft Auto — and published by Atari Corporation: the player must assign roles like digger, builder, or blocker to an endless line of creatures walking nonstop, so they can dodge traps and reach each level's exit alive. Adapting it to the Lynx's small screen required rethinking much of the original's level design. It's one of the most ambitious conversions the Lynx catalog received, faithfully carrying over one of the most influential puzzle-design phenomena in the entire history of computer video games.
