Buggy Heat is the European version of TNN Motorsports Hardcore Heat, an off-road buggy racing game developed by CRI —a Japanese company better known for its video and audio compression technology, present in much of the console's catalog— than for its own games.
It came out in 1999, within the first wave of European releases, in an off-road racing genre that never quite took off on Dreamcast against circuit simulators and Sega's arcade racers. Today it's a minor rarity, remembered more for its North American name than for its gameplay.
