Eldorado Gate Dai-6-kan continues Capcom's episodic experiment, now near the series' end: each volume picked up the previous one's save data to sustain a single turn-based RPG plot, with Yoshitaka Amano's character design as a distinctive mark against the rest of the console's Japanese catalog.
At this point in the saga, the story converges toward closing the mystery running through the twelve protagonists. It's a testament to just how far Capcom bet on an unusual distribution format -the bimonthly-installment RPG- in Dreamcast's last commercial gasps in Japan.
