Akai Ito ("the red thread") is a Japanese otome game series centered on branching romance stories, where the heroine's decisions determine which of several characters she ends up tied to. This Destiny edition for DS brings that visual-novel structure to the touch screen, with conversations and choices as the core of the experience.
Like almost the entire otome line of the era, it remained confined to the Japanese market and its niche audience, never leaving that region.
