Born from the franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi (formerly of Final Fantasy) with character designs by Akira Toriyama, the game brings to DS the turn-based combat system with summoned 'shadows' that defined the original Xbox 360 Blue Dragon, in a story designed specifically for the handheld.
This edition remained confined to the Japanese market. For those who enjoyed the home-console Blue Dragon, it's one more piece of that universe; for everyone else, a solid JRPG with access limited by language.
