Published by Atari in 2006 and by Atlus in some markets, Contact follows a boy named Terry who wakes up with no memory on a strange planet while a professor -who communicates directly with the player through the top screen- guides him on his adventure, combining real-time combat, item collection, and a very distinctive visual identity, somewhere between retro and psychedelic.
It's one of the most original and least conventional pieces in DS's RPG catalog, with a metafictional structure uncommon for its time; today it's a cult reference for those who value Grasshopper Manufacture's eccentric design outside their better-known titles like No More Heroes.
