Developed in Japan and published in the West by Atlus, "Away: Shuffle Dungeon" combines turn-based dungeon exploration with a progression system reminiscent of card-deck mechanics, an unusual formula within the dungeon-crawler genre of the era.
It went relatively unnoticed against the crowd of better-known DS RPGs, but it retains a small audience that values its original mechanical proposal; worth a look for anyone seeking atypical roguelikes on Nintendo's handheld.
