It applies picross/nonogram logic -filling in a grid following numeric clues until revealing a hidden image- with the particularity of adding color to the puzzles, adding an extra layer of deduction over the classic black-and-white formula.
It's one of many logic puzzles that found their natural home on DS thanks to the stylus; for genre fans it's an interesting variant on picross, though it stayed in the shadow of Nintendo's own Picross DS series.
