Crazy Machines brings to the handheld the engineering-puzzle series created by German studio FAKT Software, where the goal is to build impossible contraptions -Rube Goldberg machines- combining pieces, pulleys, springs, and other elements to achieve a specific objective using the laws of physics.
It's a genre that demanded experimentation and trial and error, something DS's touchscreen made easier by allowing pieces to be placed and adjusted directly with the stylus, closer to physical manipulation than the mouse of the original PC version.
