Air Ranger - Rescue Helicopter puts the player at the controls of a rescue helicopter, with firefighting, sea rescue, and evacuation missions that prioritize arcade action over realistic flight simulation. It's a modest title, one of those that filled PS2's accessible, family-friendly segment.
It doesn't aspire to the depth of a serious flight simulator, but to the immediate satisfaction of completing short rescue missions. Its place today is that of a minor curiosity for genre collectors, more than a recommendation with weight of its own.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
