This title adapts the light mystery style of writer Akagawa Jirou, one of the most prolific names in Japanese popular literature, with a murder plot wrapped in the nighttime atmosphere its subtitle suggests ('Moonlight, the Sunken Bell Murder'). It fits within the tradition of investigation adventures PS2 received in abundance solely for its local market.
Like most Japanese literary adaptations of the time, it never left Japan, and today it's material almost exclusively for readers of Akagawa Jirou or collectors interested in the crossover between popular literature and video games.
