Major Malfunction revisits the Army Men premise -fighting with garden-scale toy figures- with a more humorous tone than 3DO's previous entries, betting on irreverent dialogue and absurd situations within giant household settings. Development was handled by Zombie Studios after 3DO's collapse.
It arrived at a moment when the franchise was already showing signs of creative fatigue, and period critics were generally harsh on its technical execution. Today it's remembered more as the series' swan song than as a standout PS2 shooter.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
