Developed by Rainbow Studios and published by Sony, it offers quad-bike racing on dirt circuits with a physics and aerial-trick system that would become the series' trademark, backed by a career mode with vehicle and sponsor progression. Its success opened the door to several sequels that accompanied PS2 for much of its life.
Today it's remembered as one of the first games to make arcade off-roading a genre of its own within console racing, with gameplay that still feels agile and direct.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
