Broken Sword - The Sleeping Dragon marked Revolution Software's series' leap to 3D, keeping the environmental-puzzle and witty-dialogue formula that made Broken Sword a reference of European graphic adventure, now with dynamic cameras and direct character control instead of the classic point-and-click. The story brings back George and Nico in a plot that mixes Templars, conspiracies, and mysticism, the saga's house trademark.
It's an installment valued by graphic adventure fans for keeping the series' narrative wit despite the format change, though the transition to 3D divided opinions on the controls compared to the original 2D installments.
