Final Fronts adapts World at War's World War II Pacific and European setting, but swaps the first-person perspective of the next-generation versions for a third-person camera, and development moved from Treyarch to Rebellion Developments. In practice, it's a different game with the same narrative framework.
It was relegated compared to the main PS3 and Xbox 360 version, but for those who only had a PS2 it was a valid way to experience the landing in the Pacific. It's an interesting piece for tracing how Activision handled a console's end-of-cycle with adapted spin-offs.
