Canvas 2 - Nijiiro no Sketch, originally developed by F&C, follows a young artist who inherits his painter father's studio and reunites with various women from his past, in a romantic-route structure typical of Japanese visual novels. It had an anime adaptation and good reception within the bishoujo genre, which motivated its PS2 port with content adjusted for console.
It's one of the most recognized Japanese visual novels within its niche, though like most of its peers it never officially crossed over to the West.
