Like the rest of QuinRose's catalog, a studio specializing in the otome genre aimed at a female audience, it offers a branching story where the player's choices determine which of the noble characters the romantic bond deepens with, within a fictional imperial court. Like almost all otome titles of the time, it remained Japan-exclusive.
It's a sample of the romance-oriented visual novel segment that found PS2 one of its niche platforms before mostly migrating to handhelds and PC.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
