It's set within the Da Capo universe, one of the longest-running Japanese visual novel franchises, set in Hatsunejima, a town where a magical cherry tree blooms year-round; this version adapts the material for consoles with the narrative structure divided into the four seasons the title indicates.
Like the entire Da Capo line, it never left Japan; today it's a niche piece appreciated almost exclusively by followers of the franchise and of the romantic visual novel genre.
