The game follows the original work's premise: an alien ship crashes in Japan and its crew, physically identical to humans, must adapt to everyday life under a system of voluntary servitude toward their owners. As an adaptation of a niche license, it remained exclusive to the Japanese market.
It's a product made for the series' followers rather than the general audience, with narrative as its focus over gameplay. Its interest today is mainly for fans of early-2000s anime.
