Enclave is an action-adventure game developed by Starbreeze Studios -in its first work as a studio, years before The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay- and published by Conspiracy Entertainment in 2002 for Xbox's European launch. It offers two completely separate campaigns, one for the Light side and one for the Shadow side, each with its own story and its own goals across more than twenty-five levels.
Each side has six distinct playable classes, for a total of twelve characters with their own weapons and abilities, giving the game an uncommon replayability for its time: completing one side's campaign revealed nothing about what happened on the other. It was the first sign of a studio that, over the following years, would end up associated with some of the next generation's most acclaimed action games.
