Super Skweek arrived on the Lynx in 1991, developed by French studio Loriciel and published by Atari Corporation, as a conversion of Skweek, a game that had already found good reception on European computers: the protagonist, a ball with a face, must roll over every surface of the level to paint it completely, while dodging enemies and obstacles trying to stop its progress. The need to cover a hundred percent of the stage, rather than just reach a goal, gave each level a total-exploration logic. It's one of the many European-born games Atari added to its Lynx catalog, seeking to broaden the variety of offerings beyond in-house American production.
