7 Sins offers a social simulation game where the player runs the life of a character climbing socially and romantically by manipulating a town's neighbors, built around the seven deadly sins as its thematic structure: lust, envy, greed, and company organize mechanics of seduction, gossip, and sabotage. It's a European title of modest production that bet on an adult, lighthearted tone, uncommon in the PS2 catalog of the time.
Its interest today is mostly archaeological: it's one of those social-simulation experiments looking for a niche between The Sims and reality TV, and time has left it a rarity rather than a reference point. A curious sofa game for anyone wanting to see what European studios tried outside the action-and-sports mold.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
