Beatmania IIDX is the branch of the Bemani series that replaces traditional buttons with a five-key keyboard and a turntable, simulating a DJ's instruments. This Red edition brings the repertoire of the eleventh arcade installment to PS2, with dedicated controllers to replicate that experience at home.
For an audience without constant access to Japanese arcades, these home conversions were the only way to keep up with a saga that was constantly being updated. It remains a key piece for understanding the Bemani culture of the era.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
