Boogie Wings (known in Japan as The Great Ragtime Show) is a 1992 Data East run and gun in which you pilot a biplane equipped with a hook capable of lifting tanks, soldiers, and even buildings to use as projectiles. The setting mixes World War I with over-the-top cartoonish humor. It's one of Data East's most creative and underrated shooters, with an exuberant visual design that still surprises.
