Cameltry, published by Taito in 1989, flips the usual control logic: instead of moving the ball directly, the player rotates the entire circuit so gravity rolls it toward the goal, navigating pits and obstacles against a demanding timer. The original cabinet featured a 360-degree rotating wheel that reinforced that physical sensation. It's a direct predecessor in spirit to games like Marble Madness, and it laid the groundwork for its own sequel, Zing Zing Zip: a demonstration that Taito, in those years, kept experimenting with unconventional peripherals to stand out on the arcade floor.
