Airstrike belongs to the first wave of British shooters for the Atari 8-bit: ship on the left, a cave scrolling by on the right, and that very particular panic of flying with the ceiling grazing your antenna. The Scramble school applied with craft, back in 1982, from the English label English Software.
Fuel that runs out, walls that close in, and missiles that quietly wait for their moment to ruin your run. Few things are more eighties than memorizing a cave meter by meter until you clear it in one go.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
