"Mr. Do!" took the tunnel-digging, monster-dodging formula that Dig Dug had popularized and added cherries to collect, crystal balls to throw at enemies, and the option to crush them by dropping blocks of earth — a variant that, in its day, went toe-to-toe with Pac-Man in arcade popularity. Coleco licensed the conversion for the 2600, with the usual graphical cutbacks that came with jumping from arcade to home console.
Today it's remembered as one of the great classics of the arcade's golden age, and this home version is a good way to revisit that formula without needing an arcade cabinet.
