Super Challenge Football, published by Mattel under the M Network label in 1982 for Atari 2600, is a port of NFL Football that offers simulated fifteen-minute quarters, individual control of both the quarterback on offense and the linebacker on defense, and the option to choose between a pass or a run on each play, all from an isometric perspective unusual for the genre at the time. Player one always starts on offense wearing the red jersey, while the computer or the second player defends in blue. It's representative of Mattel's effort to bring the statistical depth of its Intellivision games to much more limited Atari hardware.
