Trick Shot is the billiards simulator Dennis Koble designed for Imagic, published in 1982 for Atari 2600, with four game variants —pool, billiards, trick shots, and trick-shot practice— resolved by moving a cursor with the joystick to aim the cue ball and regulating power with the button. The game also allows applying spin to the ball by moving the joystick at the moment of the shot, a layer of precision unusual for the genre on that console.
Its trick-shot mode, with nine situations ranging from easy to extremely difficult, worked almost like an applied-physics puzzle, rewarding planning over reflexes. It's one of the most technically polished sports simulators in Imagic's catalog for the 2600.
