Developed by n-Space -a studio that had already handled several handheld Call of Duty versions-, the game offers an independent campaign set in the Cold War, with local multiplayer and the console's own online infrastructure.
It could never replicate the feel of a home-console shooter with DS's controls, but it fulfilled its role as a handheld alternative for fans of the brand. Today it's more of a technical curiosity -how to make a decent FPS without two sticks- than a still-relevant shooter.
