Developed by Gust and published by Banpresto in 2007, Ar tonelico II deepens the series' system in which the Reyvateils, singers with magical powers, activate their abilities through songs unlocked as the intimacy of their bond with the protagonist grows.
It's a central piece for understanding the niche Japanese JRPG of the mid-2000s, with art direction and a soundtrack that still have a loyal cult following today.
