Ayakashi-bito - Gen'you Ibunroku is a Japanese RPG rooted in local folklore and the tradition of ayakashi, the spirits and apparitions that populate Japanese popular imagination, with a supernatural mystery narrative set in a period Japan. It's part of the wave of yōkai-themed RPGs that found in PS2 a comfortable platform for their production scale.
It never crossed the Pacific and depends entirely on the Japanese language to play, so today it's material almost exclusive to collectors and enthusiasts of Japanese folklore in video games.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
