Beatmania IIDX is the most technical and respected branch of Konami's Bemani universe, with a controller that mimics a mixing table and a musical catalog focused on eurobeat, hardcore, and club electronic music. This installment, DJ Troopers, brought the arcade port to PS2 for those without access to the original machine in Japanese arcades.
It's a genuinely demanding game, made for players who had already been training their reflexes in the arcades, and an entry point into the Bemani scene for those approaching it for the first time from their living room.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
