Boku to Maou ('The Demon King and I') is a turn-based RPG developed by Nippon Ichi Software, the same house behind Disgaea, though with a much lighter tone and a smaller production scale than its flagship tactical RPGs. It follows the classic JRPG formula with exploration, battles, and a plot that mixes comedy with moments of greater emotional weight.
It's a cult title within PS2's Japanese catalog, appreciated by followers of more modest Japanese RPGs that never left its home market.
