It continues the formula that made DDR an arcade phenomenon and later a household one, with arrows to be stepped on in time with the music on a pressure-sensitive pad, a catalog of pop and electronic songs, and training modes to polish coordination. SuperNova 2 arrived as a relatively minor revision of its direct predecessor, made to sustain the franchise's pace of annual releases.
It's one more piece of a saga that defined the console dance genre and that still has a loyal audience more than twenty years after its debut.
