Densha de Go! Ryojou-hen continues Taito's series dedicated to realistic Japanese train driving, with real or realistically inspired railway lines and a scoring system that rewards braking precision and punctuality at each station, replicating the rigor of real train operation. It's one of the most particular and beloved simulations in PS2's Japanese catalog.
It remains a fascinating curiosity for anyone who never encountered this kind of highly specific simulator: there's a real audience in Japan that enjoys the meticulousness of driving a train with millimeter precision, and this series is its finest expression.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
