Catch-22 is, in essence, putting Exidy's original Combat back on the market —a tank duel in a maze, with obstacles that bounce shots off— under a different name to renew the title's commercial interest. Exidy re-released it in 1985, several years after the original version's debut. It doesn't bring substantial design changes, but it's a good example of a common arcade industry practice: reviving an already-proven game under a new label to extend its commercial life.
