Ram It, published by Telesys in 1982 for Atari 2600, puts the player in command of the Ramroid, a ship fixed at the center of the screen that fires in both directions to stop colored bars advancing at random from the edges. Bars that start flashing become bonuses: destroying them earns more points and removes them completely from the board. The round ends when the whole screen is cleared, time runs out, or the bars finally close off the path; the full game lasts three rounds. It's a minimalist defense shooter, the kind that prioritizes space management over pure marksmanship.
