Star Wars: Return of the Jedi - Death Star Battle, published by Parker Brothers in 1983 for Atari 2600, was the first video game based on the third original Star Wars film, and puts the player in command of the Millennium Falcon in the final battle against the second Death Star's protective shield: you must shoot down three TIE interceptor fighters to start opening gaps in the shield, and wait for a gray band to dissipate before you can fly through toward the interior. Its cover art was done by John Berkey, the same illustrator who had defined much of the saga's promotional imagery since 1976. It got ports to Atari 5200, Atari's 8-bit computers, and ZX Spectrum the following year.
