In the arcade, "Strategy X" had a tank firing while advancing through a scrolling stage, dodging obstacles and enemy bases with a radar that helped anticipate off-screen threats, a formula Konami polished in its arcades in the early 80s. CBS Electronics licensed that base for the 2600, with the usual graphical cutbacks of the era.
It's not among the console's most fondly remembered shooters, but it documents well the early relationship between Konami and the Atari 2600's licensed catalog.
