Time Pilot (1982) has the player piloting a ship that moves freely around the screen, facing off in each level against the characteristic vehicles of a different decade, from 1910 to a science-fiction future. It's one of the most original shooters of its generation because of that time-travel structure, and its fluid gameplay still feels satisfying today — a key piece of Konami's early-'80s catalog.
