Published by Atari in 1982 alongside the film's premiere, it has the player control Tron, throwing his identity disc in all four cardinal directions against the enemy programs of the Master Control Program, with a wave structure that grows increasingly larger. It's one of several adaptations Atari released from the film, at a time when the company held the full license to Tron's visual universe.
It's remembered as one of the best movie conversions in Atari's catalog, faithful to the film's geometric, neon spirit while needing only a handful of colors to convey it.
