Cross Force, published by Spectravision, offers a standard vertical alien-blaster: a ship firing at enemy formations that grow more numerous and aggressive, within the mold that defined the genre on the console during its peak third-party production period. It doesn't stray much from the formula already established by then. It's one of the many shooters companies like Spectravision released to compete for shelf space on the Atari 2600, remembered today more as a catalog piece than as a genre benchmark.
