Meteorites arrived in 1984, developed and published by the small studio Electra Concepts: it picks up the premise of destroying asteroids before they collide with the player's ship, the same base that made Asteroids famous in arcades, with its own speed and scoring adjustments meant to set it apart from Atari's original. It arrived at a time of genre saturation, when practically every console of the era had its own space-rock-shooting variant. It didn't innovate much on the already-familiar formula, but it does a good job as a direct, no-frills shooter within the third-party catalog that accompanied the 5200 in its early years.
