Published in 1983, it has you rescuing stranded astronauts while fighting enemy ships in a distant future, combining the genre's typical reflex shooting with a secondary rescue objective that adds variety to the console's standard "kill ships" formula. Fox built much of its sci-fi catalog on this kind of premise, ambitious on paper, resolved with the hardware's limited graphical resources.
It's not one of the 2600's most fondly remembered shooters, but it documents well the era's appetite for space-adventure science fiction, still fresh after Star Wars had premiered just a few years earlier.
