Die Hard: Vendetta, developed by Bits Studios and published by Sierra Entertainment (Vivendi Universal), places McClane in an original first-person shooting story, without adapting any specific film in the saga but instead building its own plot with the same 70s-80s action tone that characterized the character on screen. It arrived on PS2 and Xbox in Europe a year after its GameCube debut.
It's a decent shooter but without great technical ambitions, more valuable today as an action movie-license piece than as an outstanding genre exponent on the console.
